Back-End Developer, IBM Corporation, Research Triangle Park, NC (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted): Act as security and compliance focal and consider the attack vectors and security weaknesses within their service or product offering and provide solutions to remediate weaknesses. Manage the Operation Systems and application in a secure manner with the knowledge of admin commands. Maintain access to the systems, monitor, access revalidation and ensure the service implements them. Ensure systems remain up-to-date to perform patches as required to ensure that the service is always running on supported Operation Systems. Scan systems and remediate vulnerabilities found within required time frames. Ensure the list of assets under company control are properly registered in their system of record. Monitor and protect data services and understand how to securely harden a system or application upon deployment. Check systems and applications to ensure they are configured correctly on an ongoing regular basis and remediate any issues. Ensure there is a process in place to store key logs with data integrity in place to protect those logs and have a process in place to independently monitor those logs. Monitor gaps in compliance or areas of risk and ensure they are addressed either by remediation activities or formal Risk Evaluations to ensure mitigation, executive awareness, and approval. Support audits by providing evidence or being interviewed as required. Utilize: Hyperledger Fabric Blockchain, Burp Suite Pro, Nessus, NodeJS, ReactJS, Python, and Chai. Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Hyperledger Fabric Blockchain, Burp Suite Pro, Nessus, NodeJS, ReactJS, Python, and Chai. Full time. WJ142.
