Your role and responsibilities

Product Manager, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted):

  • Drive product roadmap prioritization by gathering and synthesizing feedback from practitioners, engineering, marketing, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Author detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) to distill user and market research into requirements for the engineering team to deliver.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, PMM, and other internal stakeholders to execute high customer impact product initiatives.
  • Coordinate with field teams (SEs, Account Managers, SMEs) and marketing to ensure alignment on product strategy, gather feedback, and communicate feature releases.
  • Work with sales and marketing enablement to educate on the product story and features (such as website copy, whitepapers, sales decks, FAQs).
  • Deliver analytics that support Product Management strategy, Business/Sales Metric analysis including pipeline analysis, renewal performance, ACV metrics, and product usage insights.
  • Design and maintain dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Cognos) to provide real-time visibility into business metrics and KPIs.
  • Support planning cadences and product/portfolio reviews with relevant performance data and insights.
  • Assist in metric tracking and build consistent reporting systems across product teams.
  • Provide strategic insights influencing product decisions and GTM execution.
  • Utilize: Identity Access Management (IAM), Product Management, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Security Protocols, Data Analysis (Snowflake, Power BI, SQL), Application Programming Interface (API), Command-Line Interface (CLI), JIRA.

Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a B2B Software Product Manager or related. The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
