Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Job Summary

The Data Visualization Specialist transforms complex operational data and analytical insights into intuitive, actionable visual experiences that drive decision-making across all levels of the organization. This role designs and develops the unified dashboards, real-time monitoring displays, executive scorecards, and strategic reports that serve as the visual interface of the Control Tower. Working closely with the Data Scientist, Data Architect, and Control Tower Lead, this specialist creates compelling data stories that enable rapid situation assessment, proactive management, and strategic planning for the entire managed services operation.

Key Responsibilities

Real-Time Dashboard Development

· Design and build unified real-time dashboards displaying all vendors, channels, and performance metrics

· Create live monitoring displays for SLA tracking, queue management, and alert visualization

· Develop dynamic resource management views showing capacity utilization across the vendor network

· Build incident management dashboards for rapid issue identification and escalation tracking

· Implement interactive drill-down capabilities enabling detailed investigation of performance anomalies

· Ensure dashboards are optimized for large-screen command center displays and mobile access

· Continuously refine dashboard layouts based on operator feedback and operational needs

Strategic Reporting & Executive Visualizations

· Develop executive dashboards providing business-level insights for strategic decision-making

· Create vendor performance scorecards with clear visual accountability measures

· Design trend reports showing month-over-month and year-over-year comparative analysis

· Build ROI tracking visualizations highlighting cost savings, efficiency gains, and customer satisfaction improvements

· Develop AI performance and agent performance analytics dashboards

· Create presentation-ready visualizations for client executive reviews and governance forums

· Design automated reporting solutions reducing manual report generation efforts

User Experience & Data Storytelling

· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand visualization requirements and decision-making workflows

· Apply best practices in data visualization, color theory, and information design

· Create intuitive navigation and filtering mechanisms for complex multi-dimensional datasets

· Develop data storytelling narratives that guide users to key insights and actionable conclusions

· Ensure visualizations are accessible, meeting WCAG standards for color contrast and readability

· Implement responsive designs working across devices (desktop, tablet, mobile)

· Provide training and documentation for dashboard users across the organization

Education & Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Data Visualization, Graphic Design, Information Design, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree in data visualization or HCI preferred

· 5-7+ years of experience in data visualization, business intelligence, or analytics roles

· 3+ years designing dashboards for operational monitoring or real-time business environments

· Proven portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating executive-level visualizations and dashboards

· Experience with contact center operations, customer service metrics, or operational analytics preferred

· Background in UX/UI design principles and user-centered design methodologies a plus

· Experience supporting multi-stakeholder environments with diverse visualization needs

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

· Expert proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent enterprise visualization platforms

· Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and transformation

· Experience with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Plotly, Highcharts) for custom solutions

· Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite)

· Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for custom dashboard development

· Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation and automated reporting

· Knowledge of API integration for real-time data connectivity

· Experience with responsive design frameworks and mobile-first development

· Understanding of color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy principles

Design & Business Skills

· Strong visual design sensibility with attention to aesthetics and usability

· Excellent understanding of data storytelling and narrative visualization techniques

· User-centered design approach with ability to translate user needs into effective visualizations

· Strong communication skills to gather requirements and present designs to stakeholders

· Ability to simplify complex data relationships into intuitive visual representations

· Understanding of business metrics, KPIs, and operational performance indicators

· Collaborative mindset working across technical and business teams

· Project management skills handling multiple concurrent dashboard development projects
