Your role and responsibilities

As a Procure to Pay Team Leader, you will manage complex transactions related to the entire procure to pay process, develop and implement innovative process initiatives, deploying cutting-edge solutions that align with clients' tactical and strategic requirements.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managed and developed a geographically dispersed team of up to 10 employees across multiple countries, fostering collaboration, engagement, and high performance in a multicultural environment.
  • Conducted regular career development conversations, coaching sessions, performance reviews, and succession planning activities to support employee growth and retention.
  • Led, coached, and mentored team members, ensuring achievement of individual and team objectives while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Served as the primary escalation point for complex client issues, driving timely resolution and maintaining strong customer satisfaction.
  • Ensured consistent delivery of SLAs, KPIs, and operational performance targets, while proactively managing risks and service disruptions.
  • Managed workload planning, resource allocation, capacity management, and prioritization to optimize productivity and service quality.
  • Oversaw performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, development planning, and recognition programs.
  • Built and maintained strong relationships with customers, vendors, business partners, and stakeholders across Europe.
  • Ensured compliance with global policies, internal controls, audit requirements, and governance standards.
  • Provided advanced process expertise, troubleshooting support, and guidance for critical operational issues and escalations.
  • Owned and enhanced process documentation, SOPs, knowledge repositories, and training materials to drive operational excellence.
  • Identified process inefficiencies and led continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, compliance, and cost optimization.
  • Promoted automation and digital transformation through implementation of AI, RPA, and process optimization solutions.
  • Participated in and supported regional and global transformation programs, driving process standardization and operational effectiveness.
  • Analyzed operational and performance data, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

  • People Management Experience: Experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring team members, ensuring achievement of individual and team objectives while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Procure to Pay Process Knowledge: Experience working with the procure to pay process, including requisitions, purchasing, receiving, paying for, and accounting for services, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
  • Invoice Reconciliation and Accounts Payable: Exposure to invoice reconciliation and accounts payable processes, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement efficient solutions.
  • Business Operations and Compliance: Experience working with business operations, process management, and compliance principles, with the ability to apply this knowledge to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Industry-Specific Expertise: Exposure to industry-specific trends, challenges, and best practices, with the ability to leverage this knowledge to drive process improvements and efficiency gains.
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • French, Czech, German language skills are an asset
