Introduction

IBM is hiring a Global Mobility Vendor Manager who can design, launch, and scale world-class vendor programs and services across multiple functions and regions. This is a highly cross-functional individual contributor role that sits at the intersection of Global Mobility Immigration, Tax, Policy, Delivery, and Financials. You will help define how IBM operates with external partners and build systems, processes, and accountability mechanisms. This is an exciting and strategic role that will act as a key contributor to help transform and evolve the Global Mobility programs, better enable IBM to mobilize employees, and scale business across the globe

Your role and responsibilities
Global Mobility Supplier Strategy & Governance
  • Own end-to-end management of key Global Mobility suppliers, governing supplier compliance with SoW obligations, fee negotiation and governance, performance monitoring and compliance oversight, escalation management, ensuring cost control, service quality and alignment with global standards. Leading quarterly and annual business reviews as well as ad hoc executive governance forums with vendor partners and internal stakeholders, as needed.
Vendor Process Optimization
  • Drive continuous improvement of vendor processes and practices to enhance service quality and efficiency, acting as a strategic bridge between IBM and the vendors. Leverage employee feedback, escalations and internal changes to guide vendor behavior, strengthen end-user experience and ensure alignment with IBM standards. Developing scorecards, SLAs, KPIs, and other measures of performance accountability.

Systems, Data & Reporting Enablement

  • Ensure Vendors/Suppliers are maintaining dependable and accurate data/records across core systems (e.g. AssignmentPro, SuccessFactors) to support operational and compliance needs. Leveraging AI, automation, and scalable operating systems to improve execution, visibility, forecasting accuracy, and productivity.

Experience you will bring…

· 10+ years of experience in Global Mobility (preferred to have experience on both the Corporate and Supplier side)

· Vendor management, operations management experience

· Process and project Management experience

· Significant experience in vendor onboarding, management and transitions including mergers and acquisitions strategy and integration

· The ability to build a business case for senior internal and external stakeholders by utilizing data-driven decision making and exec communications.

· Experience identifying systemic operational challenges, driving cross-functional solutions, and improving business performance

· Strong data analytical and operational rigor

· Experience managing complex global programs across multiple teams or regions

· A passion for leveraging AI, automation, and scalable systems to improve productivity, performance, and business outcomes

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
