In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

IBM’s Future Now Center is seeking a skilled and client-focused SAP Time Management Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will partner with clients to design, configure, and optimize SAP Time solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and operational excellence. You will serve as a trusted advisor, leveraging your functional expertise and consulting mindset to deliver high-quality implementations, enhancements, and ongoing support in complex enterprise environments.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conduct Fit Analysis and Configuration: Perform fit analysis, configuration, testing, and rollout of SAP Time module configuration and changes to meet client business requirements.
• Resolve Functional Issues: Resolve configuration and functional business issues to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Provide Support: Offer support to clients to ensure they achieve expected business results and optimize their processes.

Required technical and professional expertise
  • Configure and test SAP Time Management solutions (e.g., Time Tracking, Time Off, and related integrations) to meet client requirements
  • Lead the development of functional and system specifications, translating business needs into scalable SAP solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical, integration, and business stakeholders) to ensure end-to-end solution delivery
  • Facilitate client client meetings, requirements gathering sessions, and process design discussions
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance functional documentation, including design documents, test scripts, and knowledge transfer materials
  • Support system deployment activities, including cutover planning, data validation, and go-live support
  • Provide AMS support, including break-fix resolution, enhancements, system monitoring, and user guidance to ensure stable operations
  • Troubleshoot complex issues using structured, repeatable problem-solving methodologies and root cause analysis
  • Deliver client enablement through training sessions and ongoing knowledge sharing
  • Stay current with SAP's innovations, products and recommend best practices to clients
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Strong functional expertise in SAP Time Management configuration
  • Proven ability to think critically and creatively to solve complex business and system challenges
  • Client-facing consulting experience with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in project delivery environments (implementations, rollouts, and Application Management support models)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across global and virtual teams
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on optimizing processes and driving value for clients
