In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting FutureNow Centers, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Package Consultant: SAP IS Oil & Gas, you will be responsible for implementing and configuring SAP Industry Solutions for the oil and gas industry, working closely with clients to understand their business requirements and design, implement, and deliver SAP IS solutions that meet their needs. Your expertise will help clients optimize their oil and gas operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design SAP IS Solutions: Analyze business requirements and design SAP IS solutions for oil and gas clients, leveraging industry-specific functionality to meet their unique needs. • Implement SAP IS Modules: Configure and implement SAP IS modules, including SAP Oil & Gas and SAP Upstream Operations Management, to deliver tailored solutions. • Develop Client Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide solutions that drive value and success. • Deliver Training and Support: Provide training and support to clients on SAP IS solutions, ensuring they can effectively utilize the technology to achieve their goals. • Stay Current with Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and SAP product developments to ensure solution relevance and competitiveness.

• Deep Expertise in SAP IS Solutions: Experience with designing and implementing SAP Industry Solutions for the oil and gas industry, including industry-specific functionality such as SAP Oil & Gas and SAP Upstream Operations Management. • Proven Experience in Client Relationship Management: Experience with developing and maintaining relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide solutions that drive value and success. • Strong Understanding of Oil and Gas Operations: Experience with analyzing business requirements and identifying opportunities for process improvements in the oil and gas industry. • Certification in SAP Products: Certification in SAP products, particularly SAP IS Oil & Gas, is highly desirable. • Experience with Industry Trends and Regulatory Requirements: Experience with staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and SAP product developments to ensure solution relevance and competitiveness.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Certification in SAP Products: Certification in SAP products, particularly SAP IS Oil & Gas, is highly desirable to demonstrate expertise and enhance credibility with clients. • Experience with Industry Trends: Familiarity with staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and SAP product developments to ensure solution relevance and competitiveness. • Knowledge of Oil and Gas Operations: Exposure to analyzing business requirements and identifying opportunities for process improvements in the oil and gas industry to drive value and success.
