In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting FutureNow Centers, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Package Consultant: SAP SCM (MM/SD), you will be responsible for implementing and configuring SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA Materials Management (MM) and Sales and Distribution (SD) modules for clients. You will focus on ensuring the successful delivery of SAP SCM projects, providing expert consulting services, and guiding clients through the implementation process.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Implement SAP SCM MM & SD Solutions:
Design and configure SAP MM and SD solutions in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA to meet clients' business requirements, including procurement, inventory management, order management, pricing, billing, and distribution processes, ensuring a smooth system transition.

• Provide Expert Consulting Services:
Offer expert guidance on SAP MM and SD modules within S/4HANA environments, supporting clients across Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, while addressing business and system-related challenges.

• Deliver Client-Facing Services:
Work closely with clients to understand business requirements, conduct workshops, provide end-user training, and support change management across MM and SD functionalities.

• Collaborate with Clients:
Engage stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, design integrated MM and SD solutions, and configure key processes such as procurement, sales order processing, pricing, delivery, billing, and inventory management.

• Ensure Successful Project Delivery:
Drive high-quality delivery of SAP SCM MM/SD projects by ensuring alignment with business objectives, meeting timelines, and supporting testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities in ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.

Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise

Experience with SAP S/4HANA MM/SD Modules:
Proven ability to implement and configure SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM) and Sales and Distribution (SD) modules, with a strong understanding of core functionalities such as procurement, inventory management, order processing, pricing, delivery, and billing.

Experience with SAP SCM MM/SD Solutions:
Skilled in designing and configuring integrated SAP S/4HANA MM and SD solutions to meet clients' business requirements, ensuring seamless Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes and a smooth system transition.

Certification in SAP S/4HANA (MM/SD):
SAP certification in S/4HANA Materials Management (MM) and/or Sales and Distribution (SD) is preferred, demonstrating expertise in implementing and configuring end-to-end supply chain solutions.

Experience with Client-Facing Services:
Proven ability to collaborate closely with clients to gather requirements, conduct workshops, provide training, and support implementation for MM and SD processes, ensuring successful project delivery.

Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Implementation Methodologies:
Familiarity with S/4HANA implementation methodologies, including project planning, system configuration, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and deployment across MM and SD workstreams
