Your role and responsibilities

As a Package Consultant specializing in SAP HANA SCM PM, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and configuring SAP S/4HANA-based Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Plant Maintenance (PM) solutions for clients.

We are looking for an experienced SAP Asset Management Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) / Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). The role involves configuring, implementing, and supporting asset management processes to optimize asset lifecycle, maintenance planning, and operational efficiency.

Functional & Configuration

• Configure and support SAP PM/EAM modules based on business requirements

• Design and implement solutions for:

o Preventive and corrective maintenance

o Work order management

o Asset lifecycle management

• Set up and manage:

o Equipment and functional locations

o Maintenance plans and task lists

o Notifications and work orders

Implementation & Support

• Participate in full lifecycle SAP implementations and rollouts

• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications

• Support testing phases (unit, integration, UAT)

• Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvements

Integration

• Integrate SAP PM/EAM with:

o MM (Materials Management) for spare parts and procurement

o FI/CO for cost tracking and asset accounting

o PP for maintenance planning

Documentation & Training

• Create functional documentation and configuration guides

• Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions

• Support end users and key stakeholders

Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise

Technical/Functional Expertise

• Strong experience in SAP PM / EAM (Asset Management)

• Deep understanding of:

o Maintenance processes (preventive, predictive, corrective)

o Asset lifecycle and performance management

o Work management processes

Experience

• 4-8+ years of SAP PM/EAM experience (adjust based on role level)

• At least 1-2 full lifecycle implementations

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Asset Management is preferred

Tools & Knowledge

• Experience with:

o Master data (equipment, functional locations)

o Maintenance planning and scheduling

o Notifications and order management

• Knowledge of integration with GIS, IoT, or mobile maintenance solutions is a plus

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement

• Ability to work independently and in team environments

• Adaptability in dynamic project settings

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field

• SAP certification in PM/EAM is a plus

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Experience with SAP Intelligent Asset Management (IAM)

• Exposure to predictive maintenance / IoT integrations

• Industry experience in utilities, oil & gas, manufacturing, or energy

• Accurate SAP configurations aligned with business needs

• Improved asset reliability and reduced downtime
