In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities
1. Project Planning
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Develop detailed project plans and schedules
  • Identify tasks, milestones, and dependencies
  • Estimate resources, time, and budget

✅ Output: Project plan, timeline, scope statement

2. Stakeholder Management
  • Identify stakeholders (clients, sponsors, team)
  • Communicate expectations and progress
  • Manage stakeholder engagement and satisfaction
  • Address feedback and concerns

✅ Output: Stakeholder communication plan

3. Team Leadership
  • Build and manage the project team
  • Assign roles and responsibilities
  • Motivate and guide team members
  • Resolve conflicts and ensure collaboration

4. Resource Management
  • Allocate resources effectively (people, tools, budget)
  • Ensure optimal use of resources
  • Adjust resources based on project needs
5. Risk Management
  • Identify potential risks
  • Analyze impact and likelihood
  • Develop mitigation and contingency plans
  • Monitor risks throughout the project

6. Budget & Cost Control
  • Prepare and manage project budget
  • Track expenses and ensure cost efficiency
  • Approve expenditures and control overruns
7. Project Execution
  • Ensure tasks are completed according to plan
  • Monitor progress and performance
  • Coordinate activities across teams
8. Monitoring & Reporting
  • Track KPIs (scope, schedule, cost, quality)
  • Provide regular status reports
  • Use tools like dashboards, Gantt charts, etc.

9. Issue Management
  • Identify and resolve project issues
  • Escalate critical problems when needed
  • Ensure minimal disruption to progress
10. Quality Assurance
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards

  • Handle scope changes or new requirements
  • Evaluate impact on timeline and budget
  • Gain approvals and update plans accordingly

• Broad Business Expertise: Experience with broad TLS-wide business expertise, enabling effective management of scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables. • IT Service Management Knowledge: Exposure to IT service management concepts, supporting the delivery of solutions to clients. • Additional Agile Methodologies: Experience with multiple Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM, Lean, Kanban, and Design Thinking, to effectively manage project scope and deliverables.
