We are seeking a motivated professional to join our Supply Chain team and perform inventory & liability forecasting and process management activities, including supply chain planning and inventory control, focusing on how product roadmaps and planning processes impact inventory levels and cash flow objectives, as well as liability management with our contract manufacturing partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in creating and maintaining inventory forecasts to optimize IBM cash flow
* Perform demand, supply, and inventory alignment; monitoring of inventory outlooks and help identify potential risks or excess inventory exposure.
* Collaborate with team members to understand Product Structures, Engineering Change (EC) processes, and MRP systems (SAP and Kinaxis Maestro) and understand the net effect on Inventory and Liability outlooks.
* Help prepare reports and presentations that summarize inventory status and highlight gaps or risks.
* Participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at reducing inventory liability and improving turnover.
As a Supply Chain Professional, you will perform cognitive and data analytics to provide data analysis and forecasts for business, supply, and demand requirements. You will act as an IBM Advocate managing end-to-end supply chain fulfillment and operations for a product or location. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Analyze Supply Chain Data: Utilize tools such as Salesforce, Cognitive Supply Chain Advisor (CSCA), Cognos, SAP, Watson 360, and Kinaxis to analyze data and provide insights for business, supply, and demand requirements. • Manage Supply Chain Fulfillment: Act as an IBM Advocate to manage end-to-end supply chain fulfillment and operations for a product or location, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across multiple IBM teams. • Optimize Assets and Inventory: Work on business process transformation and optimization of assets, cost, and inventory to support supply chain and revenue targets. • Expedite Materials and Parts: Assist in expediting materials and parts, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, and IBM business units. • Engage Stakeholders: Utilize effective communication, project management, design thinking, agile methodology, and AI/Blockchain skills to engage internal and external stakeholders.

• Agile Methodology Knowledge: Familiarity with agile methodology and its application in supply chain management, including iterative and incremental approaches to optimize supply chain operations. • Design Thinking Skills: Understanding of design thinking principles and practices to engage internal and external stakeholders, and drive business process transformation in supply chain management. • Blockchain Application: Exposure to Blockchain concepts and their application in supply chain management to provide transparent and secure transactions.
