Expert Labs Service Offerings Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Expert Labs Service Offerings Manager for the Automation Platform to lead the development, management, and optimization of our Service Offerings portfolio. This strategic role combines technical expertise, business acumen, and customer insight to create and deliver high-value service offerings that drive customer success and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Service Offering Portfolio Management
? Design, develop, and maintain a comprehensive portfolio of Expert Labs service offerings
? Define service scope, deliverables, pricing models, and success criteria for each offering
? Continuously evaluate and optimize existing service offerings based on market trends, customer feedback, and business objectives
? Create and maintain service catalogs, documentation, and collateral materials
? Establish service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for all offerings
Strategic Planning & Business Development
? Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new service
opportunities
? Collaborate with Practice Leaders, sales, marketing, solution architects, and product teams to align service offerings with go-to-market strategies
? Develop business cases and ROI models for new service offering initiatives
? Define pricing strategies and packaging options that maximize value and
profitability
? Track and report on service offering performance metrics, revenue, and customer satisfaction
Technical Leadership & Innovation
? Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices
? Partner with technical teams to ensure service offerings leverage cutting-edge solutions
? Identify opportunities to standardize and automate service delivery
? Develop frameworks, methodologies, and tools to enhance service quality and efficiency
? Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and pilot programs for new service offerings
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
? Work closely with delivery teams to ensure successful service implementation
? Collaborate with customer success teams to gather feedback and drive
continuous improvement
? Partner with sales enablement to create training materials and support sales teams
? Engage with customers to understand their needs and validate service concepts
? Build relationships with technology partners and vendors to enhance service capabilities
Operational Excellence
? Establish and maintain service delivery standards and quality assurance processes
? Develop resource planning models and capacity management strategies
? Create and manage service offering roadmaps and release schedules
? Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and security standards
? Drive operational efficiency through process improvement and automation
Education & Experience
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
? 7+ years of experience in professional services, consulting, or technical service delivery
? 3+ years in a service management, product management, or business
development role
? Proven track record of successfully launching and managing service offerings
Technical Skills
? Have a business understanding of the products within the Automation Platform.
? Experience with service design methodologies and frameworks (ITIL, Agile, DevOps, etc.)
? Familiarity with IBM’s internal AI tools
? Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and business case development
? Proficiency in creating technical documentation and presentations
Business & Leadership Skills
? Strategic thinking with ability to translate business objectives into actionable service strategies
? Excellent project management and organizational skills
? Strong communication and presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences
? Proven ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams and
stakeholders
? Experience managing P&L or service line budgets
? Customer-centric mindset with focus on delivering value and driving satisfaction

? Knowledge of specific industry verticals (financial services, healthcare, retail, etc.)
