Your role and responsibilities

Senior Cloud Consultant, IBM Corporation, Armonk, New York and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted):

  • Provide strategy consulting and partner with clients on their data and analytics journey, incorporating best practices from other engagements.
  • Collaborate with developers to review and guide modeling and insights generation for business needs.
  • Work closely with statisticians and the data science team to review and provide guidance on modeling and insights generation.
  • Leverage expertise in sales and marketing to develop supervised and unsupervised machine learning models for effective brand promotions and marketing strategies.
  • Leverage experience with cloud-based architecture to guide clients and assist in setting up modern data platforms that support evolving business and security requirements.
  • Utilize in-depth understanding and technical knowledge of relevant tools to support and guide the team in creating insights through data visualizations for the CXO team, tailored to their roles and decision-making needs.
  • Perform and guide analysis of unstructured content and text mining of customer interactions and guide/review modeling done by the data scientist team.
  • Utilize: Apache Struts, Java Script, jQuery, Oracle, Red Hat OpenShift, Jenkins, SumoLogic, Dynatrace, AWS.

Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Strategy Consultant, Managing Consultant or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Apache Struts, Java Script, jQuery, Oracle, Red Hat OpenShift, Jenkins, SumoLogic, Dynatrace, AWS. $241654 to $289300 per year. Full time. V1.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
