Duties
📢We are seeking dedicated individuals across Canada to join our dynamic team in Technical Services and Facilities, which forms part of the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) to conduct various tasks related to the maintenance of roads, land, buildings and associated services. Our focus is on the comprehensive management of facilities, including the planning, design, operation, maintenance, and sustainability of various infrastructures. ⭐ The position demands specific skills in maintenance and facility management, based to the needs of the institutional environments.➨ Position Title: General Maintenance Worker𝐊𝐄𝐘 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒: The role involves providing general maintenance (corrective and preventive), construction work and, in some institutions, minor service of vehicles. This can embrace a range of specific tasks, including providing services as a relief officer for maintenance shops, labor, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, metal, welding, paint, masonry, service plant, composter and garage (which are considered maintenance activities or part of the maintenance shop) for a CSC institution, and for providing the necessary training to offenders .
