About the position
Duties
The Senior Partnership Manager is the senior member of a regionally focused team responsible for generating leads, providing navigation support, developing financial partnerships and making recommendations on proposals to build and finance affordable housing at scale. The Senior Partnership Manager advances Build Canada Home’s strategic approach to partnerships, helps build and nurture strong relationships with government and sector representatives, and structures complex transactions in their region. They prepare clear, evidence-based briefings, recommendations, and presentations for BCH senior leadership and provide senior-level advice on partnership opportunities, project risks, and proposal assessments Working under the direction of the Director of Partnerships, the Senior Partnership Manager facilitates access to federal housing tools, oversees the progression of complex or high-impact files, and supports the consistent and effective delivery of housing initiatives across their region*. *Regions include:
Ontario region: defined as the entire province of Ontario.
Quebec-Atlantic region: defined as Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island (PEI), and Newfoundland and Labrador
West region: defined as British Colombia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
Indigenous-focused and/or North region: defined as housing portfolios that are specific to Indigenous peoples across Canada, including First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities. North is defined as Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut. ▶ Who we are looking for BCH is seeking an experienced professional to advance affordable housing projects and partnerships across their portfolio’s region*. The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated experience leading the planning, delivery, or oversight of housing initiatives, and of engaging multiple levels of government, Indigenous communities, private developers, or non-profit housing providers. They will be able to analyze complex housing, financial, and policy information and translate it into clear, actionable advice for senior leadership’s decision-making. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to build and foster strategic partnerships, lead the development and management of partnership agreements, while facilitating cross-sector collaboration. Organized, proactive, and adaptable, they will be client-focused and collaborative in leading multi-jurisdictional initiatives and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and modern housing outcomes.

EX2: Experience leading the development, negotiation, or management of housing-related financial partnership agreements or land-use arrangements within a specific region* .
EX3: Experience building and fostering partnerships with various levels of governments, Indigenous communities, private builders, or non-profit/community housing providers to advance housing development projects or initiatives.
EX4: Experience providing strategic advice to management on policy or financial investments.
EX5: Experience reviewing, evaluating, and prioritizing loan and contribution applications (underwriting).
