About the position
Duties
The District ORMS Support Analyst is responsible for performing custodial monitoring and evaluation of information that is created or enhanced within the Police Reporting and Occurrence System (PROS). This includes auditing and change/delete information that is duplicated, erroneous or irretrievable within the defined parameters of the PROS occurrence structure, within District Units. The position is responsible tor assessing the ongoing accuracy and usefulness of PROS through the assurance that the invigilation is timely, ongoing, and consistent and in compliance to both the "spirit of" and the laws regulating the collection of information on Canadian citizens and others.

Intent of the process
The intent of this process is to fill 1 full-time, indeterminate position. Candidates at the AS-01 group and level or an equivalent group may be considered for deployment. A qualified pool of candidates may be established and may be used to staff this position or similar positions or for future term, acting, assignment, secondment, deployment, or indeterminate opportunities.Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM.
