The Senior Project Manager works as part of a team to design, implement and manage large-scale contaminated sites projects, including environmental site assessments and remediations. Most work is being completed under the Federal Contaminated Sites Action Plan (FCSAP). Work is located at Parks Canada sites throughout Canada.

Parks Canada is a federal government agency responsible for the protection and presentation of Canada’s outstanding natural and cultural resources through a system of national parks, national marine conservation areas and national historic sites in all regions of Canada.
We are looking to fill one (1) temporary position from August 2025 to March 2030.

🎓Education
ED: Graduation from a recognized post-secondary institution with a degree in science, Engineering (appropriate discipline), or environmental field related to duties of the position.
💼Experiences
EX1: Experience in Management of contaminated site projects including on-site supervision of contractors and consultants;
EX2: Experience establishing, leading, and contributing to multidisciplinary project teams, including working with stakeholders;
EX3: Experience applying multiple remediation and risk management strategies;
EX4: Experience writing and reviewing technical documents required for contracted services.

AEX1: Recent and significant experience in management of construction phase services for contaminated sites in environmentally and culturally sensitive areas.
Operational Requirements
- Willingness to wear the Parks Canada uniform, identifier clothing and required safety equipment;
- Willingness to travel and/or work in a variety of weather conditions and terrain for extended periods of time;
- Requirement to work overtime, weekends and statutory/provincial/territorial holidays.
Reliability Status security clearance
Maintenance of valid driver’s license.
