As of September 9, 2024, and in accordance with the Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) Guidance on Prescribed Presence in the workplace, the Office of the Public Sector Integrity Commissioner of Canada (PSIC) requires presence in the office a minimum of three (3) days per week. PSIC employees may be required to work in the office up to five (5) days per week.
The intent of this selection process is to staff one or more positions on a temporary or permanent basis (Indeterminate/Assignment/Secondment/Acting) with a CBC/CBC second language profile and a secret security clearance.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established through this process and may be used to staff identical or similar positions with various requirements in terms of language, security and duration within the Office of the Public Sector Integrity Commissioner of Canada (PSIC).

Education
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics.
Notes:
1. Candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
2. An indeterminate incumbent of a former ES position on June 30, 1967 who became an EC on June 22, 2009, who does not possess the minimum level of education as indicated above is deemed to meet this minimum educational standard based on his/her education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE
EX1: Recent* and significant** experience in conducting statistical analysis and in producing statistical reports.
EX2: Recent* and significant** experience using business intelligence and visualization software, such as Power BI, Qlik and Tableau, to manage databases, create dashboards and reports.
EX3: Experience in providing recommendations to management.
Definitions:
(*) Recent experience is considered experience acquired within the last (5) years.
(**) Significant experience is understood to mean the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of various, complex related activities which are normally acquired over a minimum full-time period of (3) years. The amount, the complexity and the diversity of activities, as well as the autonomy level will also be taken into consideration.

ACERT1: Professional certifications in data analysis or for data analysis and visualization software (e.g. Tableau Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, etc.).
ASSET EXPERIENCE
AEX1: Experience in data transformation and analysis using statistical software such as SAS, SPSS, Stata, R, Python, etc.
AEX2: Experience in data warehousing and data modeling.
AEX3: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data storage and processing.
AEX4: Experience with predictive analytics and machine learning techniques.
AEX5: Experience in policy development.
ASSET KNOWLEDGE
AK1: Knowledge of Power BI business intelligence and visualization software.
