• Responding to telephone calls/emails and analyse the nature of calls assess the degree of urgency, eligibility and respond to the immediate concern of the caller or assign to the Mental Health Counsellor.

• Evaluating client needs and conducting risk assessment in order to assign to our mental health counselors.
• Providing information and expert advice on programs to assist client in making informed decisions and choices.
• Providing effective case management.

EDUCATION:
Master’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in counselling, social work, psychology, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION :
A member in good standing (or eligible to be a member), with a professional association order or college related to an acceptable specialization in counselling, social work, psychology , or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.
EXPERIENCES :
EXP 1: Experience establishing clinical rapport with a diverse clientele.
EXP 2: Experience of liaising with community health professionals on client issues.
EXP 3: Experience providing crisis intervention.
EXP 4: Experience doing clinical assessments.
EXP 5: Experience providing short-term counselling with individuals seeking support for mental health, personal or work-related issues.
ASSET EXPERIENCE
- Experience in client case management.
Bilingual - Imperative (CBC/CBC)

🔎 INSTRUCTIONS - When responding to the screening questions, be sure you:
Ⓐ Clearly demonstrate how you meet each criteria (education and experience) by answering the online questions and provide concrete, specific examples of actions that speak directly to the experience sought.
Ⓑ Include when the example took place (month-year to month-year), background of each situation, what you did, how you did it, what your role was in the situation, and what was the outcome.
Ⓒ Focus on what you did. When referring to an experience achieved in the context of a team, set your role apart from the role(s) of others.

A variety of assessment tools may be used in the assessment of candidates. All information collected throughout the selection process from the submission of the application until the end of the process could be used to assess the candidates.
Any assessment method that is considered appropriate to determine whether a person meets the essential qualifications may be used in no specific order, such as but not limited to, take-home test, interviews, and reference checks.
The written communication may be assessed with the screening questions.
Assessments will be conducted remotely.
During the application or assessment process, both cheating and plagiarism are considered forms of misconduct and are not permitted. Any person found cheating, including those who help others to cheat, may be subject to removal from the selection process.
