→ Employee with dependants: $3.28 hourly ($6,836 per year)
→ Employee without dependants: $1.97 hourly ($4,102 per year)

LIVING COST DIFFERENTIAL: Only Wabush, NL
→ Employee with dependants: $4.06 hourly ($8,471 per year)
→ Employee without dependants: $2.44 hourly ($5,082 per year)

FUEL AND UTILITIES DIFFERENTIAL: Only St. Anthony, NL
→ Employee with dependants: $0.66 hourly ($1,375 per year)
→ Employee without dependants: $0.40 hourly ($825 per year)

Duties

→ During winter months*, removes snow, water, ice and other surface contaminants from taxiways, runways, aprons, public access roads, parking areas, meteorological and telecommunications sites, boundary lights and other airfield, airport surfaces and drainage systems.

→ During summer months, maintains and improves conditions of runways, taxiways, aprons, roads, and other airport access areas, grass and soil covered fields and storm drainage systems.

→ Performs preventive maintenance duties and minor repairs on equipment and structures. Assists other trades with major repairs that do not require specialized training or journeyman proficiency.

*Limited vacation from October to April.

Intent of the process

We are currently looking to fill one position on a seasonal specified period basis located in St. Anthony, NL.
