Join our dynamic Human Resources team under the guidance of our HR Manager! This role offers a unique opportunity to provide multi-functional support across various HR activities, including staffing, health and safety, training, tracking, and testing. You’ll be the go-to person for procedural advice and information, ensuring our information systems and records are up-to-date and accurate.
In this position, you’ll collaborate closely with the HR team, playing a crucial role in supporting our field unit’s HR programs and regularly liaising with management. Additionally, you’ll provide essential administrative support to the HR team as needed.

This selection process will be used to fill one (1) full-time term employment opportunity in Mainland Nova Scotia Field Unit for one (1) year with possibility of extension.
The position is located in Halifax, Nova Scotia or Maitland Bridge, Nova Scotia.

- A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience relevant to the position being staffed.
💼 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬
• Recent experience* providing administrative support ** for program delivery or managerial support in a Human Resources or other service-related office environment.
• Recent*experience in the use of databases and software packages such as Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, or equivalent software(s).
*Recent is defined within the last 3 years.
**Administrative support is defined as, but not limited to preparing documents, drafting, editing, formatting, revising correspondence or reports, maintaining electronic files, scheduling and organizing meetings and virtual meetings, managing agendas and other related duties.
