Stream 1: Financial Policy
As a Senior Financial Policy Analyst, you will provide authoritative interpretation and analysis of Treasury Board (TB) policies, National Joint Council (NJC) directives, and internal departmental policies, helping ensure that financial management across the department is rigorous, compliant, and strategically aligned.
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Policy, you will contribute directly to strengthening financial stewardship, improving internal controls, and supporting evidence-based decision-making at all levels of the organization.
Stream 2: Financial Systems
As a Senior Financial Systems Analyst you can assess the potential impacts of technical solutions on the department and ensure that financial management systems and procedures comply with legislation, policies and business requirements.
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Systems and Corporate Reporting, you will help provide strategic advice and guidance and make recommendations to senior management on integrating financial management systems and business practices into financial management frameworks.
Stream 3: General
The Finance Directorate is growing and seeks Senior Financial Analysts and Supervisor Financial Analysts for a variety of roles including Accounting Operations, Corporate Reporting, Internal Controls, Financial Management, Costing and Financial Management Advisor Services. These roles offer you the opportunity to contribute to CSE’s mission while ensuring sound financial stewardship, proposing solutions and recommendations in support of sound decision making.
UNI 09 - $107,061 to $125,949 plus allowances (under review)

These positions may be eligible for the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) transitional allowance and the Financial management group allowance. These are additional allowances which do not form part of the annual salary. They are negotiated through the collective bargaining process and are currently under review.
Open to Canadian citizens employed by the federal public service within the National Capital Region, who currently occupy a substantive FI 02/CT FIN 02 or FI 03/CT FIN 03 classification or equivalent classification in separate agencies of Schedule V of the Financial Administration Act.
All jobs are in Ottawa, Ontario. CSE has two accessible facilities. Flexible work arrangements, including telework for a portion of the work week, may be possible.
An Enhanced Top Secret (ETS) security clearance is a condition of employment that must be met before an offer can be made.
