Job Summary
The City of Toronto is transforming how it delivers capital infrastructure, and this role is central to that work. Reporting to the Manager, Capital Process Improvement Implementation, the Senior Project Lead will drive implementation of recommendations from the Capital Delivery Improvements (CDI) Review and the Enhancing Capital Construction Delivery (ECCD) program, two interconnected initiatives reshaping how the City plans, coordinates, and delivers capital projects at scale.
Launched in 2022, the CDI Review modernized capital delivery to improve schedule reliability, strengthen cross-divisional collaboration, and reduce inefficiencies such as redundant exchanges and late-stage tender changes. The ECCD program builds on this foundation by advancing performance measurement, contractor accountability, and project management frameworks to enable more consistent, predictable delivery.
In this role, you will work directly with Engineering & Construction Services, Toronto Water and Transportation Services to turn recommendations into reality: building the tools, procedures and organizational structures that will define how the City builds and delivers infrastructure.
