Description

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented communications professional to join the International Policy and Press Communication (IPPC) team. This role sits at the intersection of content strategy, channels development, and community engagement, supporting the team's mission to communicate Amazon's impact across Europe. The successful candidate will generate content for our About Amazon EU site and owned channels, coordinate the About Amazon internal community, amplify policy and executives’ messaging on social channels, support Luxembourg-specific communications, and produce a daily EU policy headlines newsletter. This is a high-visibility role requiring strong writing and editorial judgement, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

Key job responsibilities
- Generate new content suitable for the About Amazon website, social media, and other owned channels, including articles, threads, graphics, and short-form video concepts.
- Works with multiple local and central teams to identify and propose content and amplification opportunities, ensuring consistent tone, timely posting, and alignment with broader communication strategies.
- Organise and facilitate monthly community calls: set agendas, develop content, recruit speakers, address questions, and run refresh sessions on existing knowledge areas.
- Support the Luxembourg PR Manager to amplify Luxembourg-specific content on social policy communication channels.
- Monitor key policy publications, regulatory developments, and media coverage across the EU.
- Develop and distribute the daily EU headlines newsletter to internal stakeholders, providing concise, accurate, and actionable summaries.

About the team
The International Policy and Press Communications team is responsible for communicating Amazon's policy positions, economic contributions, and societal impact to external audiences across Europe. We work at the intersection of public policy, media relations, and digital communications, partnering with country teams, business lines, and corporate functions to tell Amazon's story to policymakers, opinion leaders, and the public.
