Description

A Software Test Support Engineer’s primary responsibility is to leverage GenAI tools to complete module-level, service-level or platform-level test cases.
Role & Responsibility
1. Use GenAI tool to generate code/scripts following SOP/predefined requirements and execute them for testing purpose on the mobile or web platform.
2. Clearly communicte findings with dev team and stakeholders. Track doubts related to the execution of test instructions through pre-defined mechanisms.
3. Automate test workflow with GenAI agentic tools in cloud based environments.
4. Provide status reports, dashboards and data analysis with GenAI based data visualization tool.
5. Use standard cli tools in workflow like git, grep, find etc. Able to come up with basic shell script to automate tasks.
6. Understand software lifecycle concepts like CI/CD, frontend/backend, unit test, integration test, performance, security, privacy and their testing scenarios.
7. Identify gaps in day-to-day workflow and contribute to improvement ideas
