Description

We are seeking an experienced, customer-obsessed, and results-driven Strategic Supply Chain Manager to join the EU Consumables business.

This role can be based in one of our offices in London, Munich, Paris, Milan, or Madrid.

As a Strategic Supply Chain Manager, you will operate at the intersection of Operations, Supply Chain Technology, Amazon's Vendors, and our customers — leading initiatives that unlock P&L efficiencies, reduce cost to serve, and drive both short- and long-term improvements across the end-to-end supply chain. You will define and execute a Strategic Supply Chain Roadmap with some of our largest brands within EU Consumables, partnering with Brand Specialists to maximise product availability, optimise vendor supply chain configurations, and deliver meaningful operational process improvements.

The ideal candidate is a strong prioritiser and clear communicator with a proven track record of delivering results. They bring deep customer obsession, exceptional analytical skills, and a self-starter mindset — comfortable diving deep into data to surface insights and drive action. This role demands close collaboration across functions, earning trust both externally with vendors and internally with operations, technology, and finance partners.

Key job responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives to improve customer availability, increase inventory efficiency and speed, eliminate supply chain defects, and drive adoption of automated tools and processes across EU Consumables.

- Analyse data and own category KPIs to identify key drivers of supply chain cost and performance, surfacing insights, trends, and actionable recommendations to Senior Leadership.

- Own end-to-end vendor engagements, partnering with commercial counterparts, central project teams, and vendors to define supply chain improvement goals across large cohorts and drive their delivery.

- Drive cost structure and profitability initiatives, collaborating with partner teams to identify and execute opportunities that enhance the financial health of the category.

- Serve as the subject matter expert for a portfolio of supply chain programs and initiatives, authoring business review documents and leading cross-category narratives for Consumables.

- Develop trusted relationships with retail vendors, collaborating on joint initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs — ultimately delivering a delightful experience for Amazon customers.
