Position: Operations Engineer III - AMZ9262.14

Multiple Positions Available:

Work independently with internal and external engineering teams to successfully deliver cross-functional projects that are of a high-quality (e.g., on-time, on-budget, maintainable, low-defects, etc.). Partner with project managers and external vendors to set project priorities, establish milestones, and drive schedules to meet a deadline. Influence technical documentation content, perform documentation review, dive deep into system layouts and solutions. Competently represent system and/or equipment designs to both customers and other teams. Communicate project status, effectively answer project questions in detail, and regularly produce clear and concise summaries for the projects you own to your leadership/management team. Excel at developing good working relationships with vendors, engineers, managers, and peers. Participate in design reviews and support execution efforts between internal teams and outside vendors including equipment specifications, material flow, process design, and site layout. Efficiently manage budget documents, change order controls, purchase orders, and invoicing. Build strong working relationships with FC/SC leadership and their operations teams across multiple sites as well as their Launch, Facilities, Finance, Safety, Process Engineers, and other business stakeholders. Identify and lead process improvement initiatives in support of operations teams within a geographic node. Up to 75% domestic travel to perform role responsibilities may be required. 100% telecommuting permitted, work may be performed from anywhere in the U.S.

(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $144477 - $161700)
