Description

The role can be based in Luxembourg or London.

At Amazon, we are always exploring new opportunities to shape our global business. Our Program Managers help us move forward with our best ideas and get everything in place to drive success. As you take on different projects, you’ll become an expert in our processes and see your experience evolve. Along the way, you’ll work closely with different functions across Amazon and see how working together makes us a leader in what we do.

The role will involve understanding the full transportation network connecting upstream design to downstream implementation including physical and virtual transportation processes, from our fulfillment centers on to our final mile carriers who deliver our packages to our customers. As part of the EU Network Design Programs team you will combine business process knowledge, data expertise, and influencing skills to identify and drive programs to manage change across our transportation network.

To be successful in the role, you need strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, ability to influence across business functions and manage stakeholders’ expectations effectively. You will work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment that requires you to be detail-oriented and comfortable in working with multiple business and technical teams.

Key job responsibilities
Create roadmaps for project implementation and brief various teams on requirements
Set measurable milestones for projects as well as continuous goal setting for ongoing programs
Collect and analyse data to drive project decisions and provide business insights
Run meetings with partner teams to track progress, implement new initiatives, and improve existing programmes
Document standards for projects and ensure compliance
Manage internal and external stakeholders

A day in the life
Every day is different as a Program Manager. You’ll work both independently and collaboratively on projects, which may be at different stages of the project lifecycle, from development to delivery. You might spend your morning gathering data and feedback to assess a program pilot, then spend your afternoon discussing a resourcing plan for another project. You will collaborate with other teams, track project progress, and share updates with key stakeholders.

Amazon is a data-driven business, so no matter which project you are implementing, part of your role will involve gathering insights to make decisions. You’ll trial different ideas, analyze data to identify potential challenges, and present your findings to senior teams.
