Description

Amazon is seeking a seasoned communications leader to join its International Stores Communications team based in London, UK. This role will own the international communications strategy for two of Amazon's most high-profile and commercially significant consumer propositions — Prime membership and Delivery Experience (DEX) — spanning 29+ countries across Europe, Middle East and Africa, Latin America, and Asia Pacific. These programmes are central to Amazon's international growth, customer retention, and brand reputation.

As part of a central hub team, you will define and own the international communications strategy while directing the strategic framework that in-country comms teams across 29+ countries localize and execute. You will serve as the single-threaded topic lead for these international businesses, set the strategic direction for both proactive and reactive communications, design and implement scalable frameworks for multi-market coordination, and serve as the strategic bridge and decision-making point between global comms leads and in-country teams. This role requires close collaboration with US-based comms counterparts, engagement with senior stakeholders across the business, and the ability to influence strategic decisions that impact brand reputation. The position directly manages a team of two, while supporting a dotted-line network of in-country communicators across 29+ markets — setting standards, frameworks, and strategic direction adopted by local teams.

• Drive long-term communications planning aligned to business cycles, product roadmaps, and international expansion
• Track industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to inform strategy
• Establish measurement frameworks to evaluate communications impact and inform strategy iteration
• Manage and develop a team of two
