Description

Amazon's North American Customer Fulfillment (NACF) Finance is looking for a Finance Manager to be the trusted finance partner supporting operational and functional leaders. Amazon operates the most complex retail networks in the world, delivering billions of packages to hundreds of millions of homes and businesses annually – and we have nearly doubled the size of our fulfillment network over the last two years! Come join a dedicated team committed to operational and financial excellence where you will focus on the inputs, think like an owner, and where every day is Day One.

The USNS Labor Strategy Pillar sits at the intersection of workforce economics, operational planning, and financial performance across Amazon's US Non-Sort fulfillment network. This team serves as the analytical backbone for labor-related financial decisions — translating complex workforce data into actionable insights that drive cost efficiency and workforce effectiveness at scale.

You will partner directly with Labor Strategy, Operations, and HR leadership to build and own the financial models that underpin headcount planning, labor rate analysis, tenure mix management, and productivity benchmarking. You will play a key role in annual operating plan development, ongoing variance analysis, and the design of scalable mechanisms that improve labor economics across the network. This is a high-visibility role for a finance professional who wants to influence strategic workforce decisions at one of the world's largest employers.

Success in Role
You know your business and identify opportunities to decrease cost and/or improve customer and employee experience. You leverage appropriate resources to deep dive and make recommendations and influence leaders. You formulate how to deliver improvements and execute at scale. You play an active role in recruiting and coaching others – on your team or other teams. You leverage your deep knowledge of the business to be a strong controller.

Key job responsibilities
Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models and analyses with limited guidance, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results and drive improvements.

Independently align financial and operational analyses with your business partners, challenging business partner assumptions when necessary.
Provide analysis and recommendations to business leaders to support operational and growth business decisions and action plans.

Proactively identify opportunities to resolve finance defects and improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes across teams and organizations.

Intuitively utilize active listening skills to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner, adjusting your style based on audience, to articulate complex finance issues.
