This is an emerging Last Mile delivery channel on an exponential growth trajectory World Wide. We seek a Senior Operations Manager to lead channel expansion in Japan.

Key job responsibilities
The Senior Manager, Hub Delivery Operations Lead is accountable for driving partner acquisition strategy, Sales team expansion, and network capacity optimization to meet growing operational demands.
The role leads a team of 80+ headcount, owning the end-to-end aspects of partner onboarding, utilizing technologies like Hugo and CTO for optimal location and partner selection. The position requires close collaboration with the Hub Delivery Program team to execute partner acquisition and retention strategies while ensuring alignment with marketing initiatives and Field team staffing.
The role demands strong leadership skills in scaling the Sales team including hiring of other role members. The role will need to possess an out-of-the-box thinking capability to ensure innovative ways of building the talent pool of the Hub Delivery team and create structured training modules to enhance performance of both Sales & other function team.
Stakeholder management will be a key prerequisite for the role as they would need to liaise with multiple teams, from Program to Planning, as well as external vendors. Capacity planning for high volume events will be a critical responsibility, directed towards building driver’s capacity for AMZL. This also includes developing bonus structures, partner communication templates, and leading all peak capacity planning initiatives.

As the single-threaded leader, this role will address all partner onboarding concerns raised by Program and leadership teams while establishing necessary cadences for expedited onboarding and launches.
The role will need to possess strong skills in managing large teams. This will involve both recruitment and developing talent across levels. The ability to positively influence the team and be able to deliver results against business odds will be important.
