The IN Devices marketing team is seeking a customer obsessed, and result-oriented Marketing Manager to shape Events and sales promotions for Amazon Devices. The incumbent will evaluate, develop, and execute the playbook for customer inputs, deals and engagement plans for all Devices events (Amazon Sale events like Prime Day, Independence Day and Diwali Sales, category specific shopping events). This role will handle all cross-site and category-specific events, ensure robust planning, coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders and execute events flawlessly. They will also identify opportunities to enhance customer acquisition and Prime engagement via Events and create new properties/programs to scale the business. They will partner with IN teams, and work closely with International Devices teams to bring in best practices, that will enable the larger team to work effectively and efficiently.
The ideal candidate must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically, be a collaborative, resilient and thoughtful leader who is data driven, an effective communicator, and capable of handling multiple projects at once
Key job responsibilities
• Single threaded owner for all events & sales promotions calendar for all Devices categories & develop robust processes for smooth execution of these events. End to end program management to ensure smooth execution
• Independently manage, plan, coordinate and execute high-impact events by working seamlessly with cross-functional stakeholders – internal Devices teams, IN teams and international teams
• Long-term planning and development of strategy for the Events & Deals programs - to raise bar on CX, acquire new customers, and drive higher engagement.
• Compile, analyze, and present performance metrics and enlighten potential opportunities for program & event growth
• Establishing guidelines and best practices across Devices teams, internationally.
• In addition to events, this role also leads high visibility, cross functional programs in BAU periods.
