Amazon is seeking a Technical Program Manager L6 to own and lead the EU AMZL SCADA Deployment Program, delivering world-class SCADA solutions across Amazon Logistics fulfillment network in Europe. This role is critical to ensuring material handling equipment runs efficiently and reliably, supporting our AMZL operations teams and expanding SCADA coverage across the EU AMZL network.
The TPM will be the single-threaded owner of the EU AMZL SCADA Deployment Program, managing the complete lifecycle from planning through deployment and post-launch support. You will work directly with AMZL site customers, resolve cross-team dependencies, and partner with a Principal Product Manager and Senior SDM to deliver automation solutions that will have lasting impact on Amazon's AMZL operations across Europe.
Key job responsibilities
* Own the EU AMZL SCADA Deployment Program end-to-end with accountability for program success, defining program mission, vision, and tenets aligned with AMZL Operations and Global Automation Engineering objectives
* Plan and execute SCADA deployments across EU AMZL sites including delivery stations and sort centers, developing site-specific deployment plans accounting for AMZL operational constraints and peak season schedules
* Manage multi-year roadmap for EU AMZL SCADA deployments including SCADA 2.x/OmniFrost rollout strategy, driving AMZL site prioritization based on business impact, operational readiness, and technical dependencies
* Resolve cross-team dependencies across Controls Engineering, AMZL Site Operations, RME teams, SCADA development teams, and external technology providers
* Drive technical discussions on SCADA 2.x/OmniFrost platform design, PLC/HMI integration, data acquisition, and real-time monitoring systems for AMZL equipment
* Work directly with AMZL site customers across EU delivery stations and sort centers, translating site pain points into actionable engineering priorities
* Manage deployment timelines, milestones, and dependencies across multiple concurrent site launches, tracking deployment metrics including on-time delivery, defect rates, post-launch incidents, and site satisfaction
A day in the life
You will coordinate with multiple System Development Managers on SCADA 2.x/OmniFrost development activities, partner with Principal Product Manager and Sr. SDM to align technical execution with product strategy, and engage directly with AMZL site leadership and RME teams across EU. Your day involves driving technical and business discussions leading to crisp decisions, managing site deployment schedules while minimizing disruption to AMZL delivery operations, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks before they impact site operations. You will review SCADA performance metrics across deployed sites and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
