The Content & App Partner Engagement (CAPE) UK Marketing team seeks an experienced Senior Partner Marketing Manager to lead business and marketing relationships for large and mid-size strategic content partners for Fire TV and Fire TV Channels. This role focuses on maximizing customer engagement and monetization for Appstore Content across Amazon Devices, and running the Fire TV Channels app in the UK.
The team is seeking a talented, self-directed and high energy partner growth marketing innovator to help drive our efforts internationally, including successful partner launches, engagement, and retention. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated an ability to build successful 3P relationships, own successful 360 marketing campaigns/initiatives with App and Channels Partners to maximize performance, with experience in owned and operated channels. The role will also take on the operational side of running Fire TV Channels in the UK including the content curation of the Fire TV Channel Apps, creation of in and out of app playlists and marketing campaigns to drive our Key KPIs.
You will get to own the business and marketing relationships for large and mid-sized partners, leading successful marketing campaigns across multiple touch points and experience using on device merchandising tooling. The position will be based in the UK and will report to the UK Head of Marketing. The role will be held accountable to deliver on team and partner goals for customer engagement and monetization.
*Note this is a Fixed Term Contract role (FTC) for 12 months
Key job responsibilities
- Managing strategic device or service partner relationships, with the aim to maximize performance/output with these partners. This work can span on-device or in-service promotions, cross-channel campaigns, and various strategic growth-driving initiatives such as sampling and promotional bundle campaigns
- Involved in partner-facing negotiations with Business Development (BD); and (ii) collaborating closely with tech on solutions to onboard new
- Tracking channel performance via dashboards and analysing data to positively impact performance
- Working with Business Development (BD) on app distribution agreement negotiations and contract compliance
- Leading partner negotiations for complex promotional/marketing initiatives beyond app distribution deals, e.g., promotions (e.g., buy X get Y deals), premium campaigns (e.g. large partner commitments for Tentpole Content Launces) and sampling
- Planning and executing marketing campaigns/initiatives in owned and operated channels to maximize partner performance
About the team
Our business is responsible for bringing the Content from our 3P Partners to Fire TV, and Fire TV Channels and driving customer engagement across our business. Our devices and services connect our customers to the videos, apps and games they love through our Appstore and related products.
