Our Financial Operations team is seeking a proactive, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Senior Collections Analyst. In this role, you will collect from EU vendor and liquidator portfolios and support fiscal transaction processing for Amazon vendors and liquidators operating on Amazon EU marketplaces.

As a Senior Collections Analyst, you will be responsible for collection activities related to German-speaking vendors with EU exposure and will provide support for other transactional activities. This includes direct contact with EU vendors regarding delayed payments, as well as collaboration with internal stakeholders. You will work within a team of collectors covering multiple EU marketplaces and gain exposure to European Finance Operations procedures, allowing you to contribute to process improvements and grow into Subject Matter Expert (SME) roles.
Base pay for this position starts from EUR 1,800+ gross per month, depending on skills and requirements. Additional pay components include a sign-on bonus and eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in the USA. Key job responsibilities
• Manage collections activities for a portfolio of EU vendors, ensuring timely payment resolution and maintaining accounts receivable within target thresholds
• Conduct daily communication with German-speaking vendors via phone, email, and other channels to resolve overdue invoices and payment disputes
• Monitor aging reports and collection metrics, proactively identifying at-risk accounts and implementing appropriate collection strategies
• Collaborate with internal teams including Accounts Receivable, Vendor Management, Credit/Cash teams and Tax to resolve complex payment and invoicing issues
• Document collection activities, maintain accurate records in financial systems, and ensure compliance with company policies and EU regulations
• Analyze root causes of payment delays and provide recommendations for process improvements
• Escalate critical issues to senior management and coordinate with cross-functional teams as needed
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities related to accounts receivable and collections reporting
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to existing processes.


A day in the life
As a Senior Collection Analyst, you will monitor accounts to resolve open receivables. You will find and contact vendors directly via phone and email to arrange debt payoffs, resolve invoice issues, and drive in-depth analyses and financial reconciliation in cooperation with multiple teams. You will maintain accurate records, report on collection activities, and drive monthly targets.
You will have opportunities to dive deep into our processes and tools to find efficient and sustainable solutions. Your working day will include managing programs or projects, independently or with stakeholders, to ultimately improve our business outcomes.
