The Global Selling team in China is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazon’s 14 overseas marketplaces, and supporting local Sellers’ success and growth on the Amazon. We are looking for a Business Operation Team Leader to accelerate China Sellers success on worldwide Amazon Marketplace. You will have the exciting opportunity to shape and deliver our suite of Paid Service products and play a key role to work with multiple internal stakeholders and business teams to contribute on significant service offerings development and improvements, and/or launch to support growth of China Paid Service. Candidates who delight in optimizing scarce resources and can strategically outline effective solutions rapidly should apply.
The Role
Lead of Business Operations will be instrumental in helping our Seller facing teams to drive greater efficiency, productivity, consistency, scalability, and customer value. The successful candidate must be able to work directly, in a hands-on way, with multiple stakeholders and business teams, leading program planning cycles, supporting program and operations optimizing and execution excellence for multiple products at one time. S/He needs to be passionate about his/her work, self-motivated, detail oriented and have excellent problem solving abilities, as well as superb communication, strategic thinking and forward looking. The candidate will also be required to deal with highly ambiguous problems, identify root cause, devise and drive towards simple solutions to complex problems.
In this role, s/he will be required to lead a team to formulate operation solution and tracking mechanism for both internal teams and external sellers to support our account management work.
Key job responsibilities
Primary responsibilities, include but not limited to:
- Own the business planning, ops designing and optimizing, assessing and prioritizing needs based on business status
- Serve as the main point of contact for all China Paid Service related Business Operations, and work cross-functionally and globally with internal Amazon stakeholders to align on working mechanism
- Lead business operation team to drive the efficiency to enhance seller experience and contribute to business success.
- Innovate and optimize operate process to achieve productivity and goal.
- Act as an SME to solve local and worldwide Paid Service ops questions and issues and provide training and know-how to other teams.
