Description
The Global Fleet and Products (GFP) organization is responsible for building and managing the Amazon Last Mile Fleet. This team is looking for a Program Manager, Variable Fleet Manager (VFM) to ensure our fleet remains the world's safest and most efficient in the world. This role will be responsible for managing the on-site responsibilities for the Last Mile Rental fleet on the island. The VFM will be the local Fleet POC on-site: driving daily tactical execution of fleet-related tasks and assisting partner teams with the operationalization of cross-functional projects and programs. This role will interact daily with on-site station leadership and Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) to drive key initiatives for the GFP Fleet team. Key job responsibilities
* On-site field support for a delivery station - owning station level support and escalations in the field.
* Comfortable driving KPIs (i.e., compliance and safety metrics) with internal and external stakeholders.
* Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment and provide daily tactical feedback to other leaders in the organization.
* Partner with Amazon Operations leaders, DSPs, Regional Fleet Managers (RFMs), and Corporate program teams to drive adherence to business goals and initiatives.
* Engage Operations and DSP teams on standard work and best practices and maintain accountability to Fleet standards with in-station presence, vehicle safety audits, and coaching.
* Coordinate with third party companies to ensure Best in Class service is provided to Amazon Fleet.
* Comfortable operating remotely—this role is field support may not be co-located with your manager.
Travel for this role may be up to 25% at times.
