What You'll Own

You'll own the end-to-end customer experience that inspires customers to shop on Amazon—from revamping homepage content that captures attention, to optimizing landing pages that drive engagement, to improving detail page conversion, and orchestrating the complete offsite-to-onsite shopping journey across external marketing channels including social media, AI-powered channels, display ads, and search.

Think Big & Define the Customer Journey: Map comprehensive customer experiences across all touchpoints: homepage content discovery, landing page engagement, detail page conversion, and the transition from external channels (Instagram, Meta, Google Search, display advertising, AI-powered discovery platforms) to seamless Amazon shopping experiences. Identify friction points in the customer journey and design solutions that meaningfully improve conversion and engagement. Define the vision for personalized, responsive experiences that inspire customers to explore new categories and products—whether they arrive from social media, paid search, AI channels, display ads, or browse our homepage

Design Experiments to Validate Hypotheses: Run rapid A/B tests to validate which content strategies, page layouts, and targeting approaches drive highest engagement and conversion across homepage, landing pages, and detail pages. Design experiments testing benefit-driven product curation, visual storytelling (images/videos), personalized recommendations, and navigation patterns. Use data to prove hypotheses about customer behavior—what makes them engage vs. abandon, browse vs. buy, across different entry points

Drive Data-Driven Product Development: Leverage analytics and customer insights to prioritize features that measurably improve discovery and conversion across all touchpoints. Make evidence-based decisions on content frameworks, personalization strategies, and targeting approaches for homepage, landing pages, and detail pages. Use conversion data, engagement metrics, and customer feedback to continuously iterate and optimize experiences

AI-Native Product Development with Tech and Designers: Collaborate with engineering teams to build intelligent systems that personalize content based on customer search terms, clicked products, shopping context, and entry channel. Partner with UX designers to create mobile-friendly navigation, shoppable media experiences, dynamic content layouts, and seamless transitions from offsite to onsite. Define technical requirements for AI-powered features like automated product selection, real-time personalization, and conversion optimization across the customer journey. Leverage AI to accelerate development cycles and enable rapid experimentation at scale
