Amazon Finance Technology is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to work on FinTech Treasury. In this role, you will build treasury solutions that manage bank balances, cash flows, and cash-impacting transactions, supporting financial movements across all Amazon businesses. You will build a next-generation, horizontally scalable platform that will transact hundreds of billions of dollars each year as Amazon grows into a multi-trillion-dollar company. The platform supports banking and financial services capabilities that enable cash flow tracking and payment execution across Amazon’s global operations. You should be comfortable working with highly abstracted, extensible systems in a multi-tenant, microservice-oriented architecture.

As a Software Development Engineer in Finance Technology, you will be responsible for driving implementation decisions, delivering functional components, and mentoring junior engineers to develop logical & maintainable software that meets high standards of quality and abstraction.


This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned engineer. In this position, you will play a major role in the architecture, design, implementation and deployment of large-scale and complex big data applications. You will push your design and architecture limits by inventing and simplifying complex problems. You have strong verbal and written communication skills, are self-driven, and can deliver high quality results in a fast-paced environment. You will work with Amazon engineering and business teams across the globe in planning, designing, executing and implementing this new platform.

This is a brand-new platform we are building. We are currently in the stage of defining the architecture and high-level design. So, this is your chance to build this platform from scratch.
