At Prime Video, we bring world-class entertainment to customers. In this role, you will be responsible for owning media strategy, planning and execution together with our media agency across multiple through-the-line campaigns across the year. You will be the expert in media with a strategic big picture view on media strategy and planning to drive awareness of Prime Video content for Australia and New Zealand audiences.
Key job responsibilities
Driving overall Media Strategy
o Media planning frameworks including setting of media sufficiency thresholds and mental model on platform/channel mix
o Media mechanisms for nimble media investment levels per title
o Ownership of media partner relationships including Open Door, TikTok, Google, Meta, Spotify etc
o Ownership and optimization of overall media strategy based on MMM analysis results
Media Planning per campaign (including Single Title Campaigns, Sports and Brand/Multi-title)
o Media briefing and reviewing recommendation to plan
o Real-time analysis of campaign results and optimization
o End-of-campaign evaluation, bringing forward learnings to future campaigns
Media Campaign Execution
o Airtable approvals
o Finance function including
o Coordination and budget reconciliation of POs across Meta, Tiktok, X, agency and tax
o Retainer, Commission (Agency Fee) - AU & NZ separately, Double Verify (if applicable), Adserving - AU only.
o Budget/PO reconciliation across PO, Media Spend, Accruals
o Invoice approval
o Working with Amazon Finance to ensure media budgets are reconciled with what activity we said we would do
o Management of ad accounts which is mandatory due to Amazon Policy Guide including Meta, TikTok and X
o Working with WPP for quarterly forecasts across Meta and reconciling the amount spent and applying them to the campaigns we run
o Approvals of IOs
o Sprinklr approvals
o Uploading assets on owned channels for media ie. Youtube
o TACS ID generation for each campaign
o Working with ADSP to ensure anything required from a campaign set up is done
o Working alongside the performance/growth team to ensure title campaigns are well supported
o Management of any future long term partnerships in consultation with Snr Brand Manager/ campaign management team
A day in the life
You will work with Global and local studios stakeholders, internal APAC stakeholders as well as our media agency on a day-to-day basis to ensure that campaigns are thoughtfully planned across media. Time will be spent on organizing processes and ensuring that robust measurement and tracking in in place to ensure strong execution and delivery across campaigns. Your day-to-day would include writing media briefs, providing feedback and finetuning media plans, analysing campaign results, ensuring campaign plans are set up with the right assets and more.
About the team
This role sits within the Australia and New Zealand team which rolls up into the PV APAC Marketing org. You will work alongside the Brand Manager, Creative team as well as cross-functionally with Social Media, Comms and Programming.
