Amazon MGM Studios (AMS) Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is looking for a Financial Analyst to support the business and finance teams, with a focus on supporting the financial planning efforts of Free Cash Flow consolidation. This role will focus on both core financial planning cycles, including Month-End Close, Quarterly Guidance forecasts and Annual Operating Plans, as well as ongoing controllership.

They will have demonstrated success in a fast-paced, complex, global, results-oriented environment. The team needs a self-starter, who is able to work efficiently and autonomously. They must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically and manage multiple competing priorities effectively.

• Support month end, quarterly, annual operating financial planning working cross functionally with various teams, including Prime Video finance, accounting, and business operations
• Ensure data is accurately reflected in financial planning systems, including Essbase and Cognos
• Drive process automation to streamline current processes and enhance financial controllership
• Ad hoc project support on company-wide strategic initiatives
• Analyze complex financial data and provide accurate and timely reports to key stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations
• Support the month-end close process and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Assist in developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
