Our team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Telemetry Engineering team as a technical leader.

Key job responsibilities
- In this role you will use your deep technical experience with software development to deliver projects end to end from design, implementation, and testing to launch.
- Your primary focus will be on leading design and development of systems that detect network disruptions and prevent network outages through data collection and observation.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate telemetry solutions across network infrastructure.
- As a senior engineer, you'll have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, and foster a culture of engineering and operational excellence.
- You will have the opportunity to participate in critical architectural decisions and help define the technical roadmap for the team, ensuring our telemetry systems remain robust and efficient.
- You will be empowered to think big, invent on behalf of our customers, make judgment calls and find elegant solutions to hard problems.

The Telemetry Engineering team designs and builds telemetry gathering and reporting systems at the heart of Amazon’s global delivery infrastructure. The software you build will run on millions of devices relied on by millions Amazon associates every day, at thousands of sites around the world, supporting hundreds of teams with a stake in delivering shipments to Amazon retail customers.
