The AWS Event Technology Team (ETT) is at the forefront of delivering exceptional event experiences for our customers. We design, build, and support a cutting-edge platform that empowers marketers to create and manage thousands of virtual and in-person events annually, from large-scale conferences like re:Invent to smaller events.

Join our Event Technology Mobile App team as a Software Development Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of event technology. You will spearhead the development and enhancement of our world-class personalization and AWS Events Mobile App, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for attendees worldwide. Collaborate closely with AWS global marketing stakeholders, providing innovative tools, governance, and operational support to drive AWS growth and elevate attendee experiences to new heights.

Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities
We are looking for experienced technical experts to help deliver industry leading next generation mobile app services architected for the cloud. You will be part of the team that architects, designs, and implements highly scalable distributed systems that provide availability, reliability and performance guarantees. This is a hands-on position where you will be asked to do everything from building rock-solid components to mentoring other engineers. You need to not only be a top software developer with a good track record of delivering, but also excel in communication, leadership and customer focus. This is a unique and rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a fast-growing business and help shape the technology, product, and business. A successful candidate will bring deep technical and software expertise and the ability to work within a fast moving, startup environment in a large company to deliver solid code that has a broad business impact.
