AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

The Industry Partner Development Manager will own comprehensive get-to-market and go-to-market strategies for partners in Hi-Tech and Manufacturing verticals, driving strategic growth through C-level relationships with partners and AWS leadership to define joint business strategies that create mutual value. This role requires developing industry-specific GTM approaches, enabling partners to build vertical solutions, pursuing design wins, and driving partner-originated opportunities while executing revenue-producing plans that expand partner solution depth for AWS sales teams. Success in this position will be measured by partner-originated pipeline growth, APN program participation, and enhanced partner capabilities in serving industry customers' line-of-business needs.


Key job responsibilities
Industry Partner Development Manager - Role Overview
Drive SAP partners and target industry: Hi-Tech/ MFG to achieve assigned goals through strategic GTM execution. Set and manage revenue targets, working with partners, SAP and AWS sales organizations to exceed objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Define overall GTM strategy with SAP, understand SAP partners' business requirements, and guide offering direction with internal BD teams. Hands-on collaboration with partners' field sales and end customers to create revenue opportunities. Leverage AWS resources for competitive positioning on customer projects.

Sales Execution: Align internal mechanisms with account teams on SAP partner-related key projects. Manage day-to-day sales, involve right partners for customer solutions. Build and close pipelines for SAP RISE named accounts.

Success Focus: Revenue and Partner Orginated revenue growth through SAP partners and AWS collaboration, competitive wins, and strategic account management.
