We currently have a vacancy for a Learning Trainer to join the Amazon Australia Team.
This position within the BWU6 Fulfilment Center (FC), reporting into the Learning Manager, will manage and work with the Ambassador team to deliver high standards of training to our new and existing associate work force. The suitable applicant will be trained in both the standard work and tools used within the Learning function. You will be a strong communicator, who values teamwork and who can function as a role model and engage in a professional manner with the entire FC workforce.
Key job responsibilities
· Develop, deliver and assess a multitude of training programs for both new and experienced warehouse team members; including forklift (LF) and order picker (LO) operations (an LF/LO license will be required)
· Perform data entry including creating, entering and updating training rosters
· Lead & Support Ambassadors in their roles in delivering training and coaching to associates
· Assist in evaluating and monitoring training efforts throughout the FC
· Ability to learn processes quickly and become a subject matter expert in new processes
· Problem Solving responsibilities: react quickly and productively, serving as a resource for specific problems and undertaking the appropriate steps to resolve
· Complete understanding of the safety procedures in the FC to ensure that associates are operating safely and take immediate corrective action where necessary
· Ensure compliance with audits and refresher/one point change training
· Complete all standard work and assigned tasks on time and to standard expectation
· Ensure area readiness and area organization for all Learning areas and training locations to ensure they are prepared to support all training activities
· Spend a minimum of 5 hours per week in a warehouse process path (rotate through paths such as pick or pack) to maintain proficiency and identify associate barriers
