As a Vendor Manager in Amazon's Other Hardlines team, you'll shape the future of your category while driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Owning the P&L for a major category, you'll be responsible for topline growth, profitability, customer experience, and managing key vendor relationships. This dynamic role requires you to develop and execute strategic plans that expand product selection, drive operational excellence, and improve vendor terms, all while enhancing the overall customer experience.
Your analytical skills will be crucial as you dive deep into business performance metrics and industry trends. You'll lead long-term Joint Business Planning, own complex negotiations, and identify growth opportunities while finding creative ways to reduce costs. A key aspect of your role will be defining and prioritizing meaningful ways to delight our customers, contributing to the development of new programs and features that improve both the shopping and selling experience on Amazon.
Collaboration is essential in this position, as you'll partner with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Finance, Advertising, Marketing, and Account Management to drive initiatives spanning the entire business. Your leadership will extend to mentoring and developing team members, fostering a culture of high performance and innovation. As a strategic thinker, you'll translate data into actionable insights, make high-impact decisions, and ensure we're well-positioned to meet customer needs throughout the year, especially during peak seasons.

- Acting as ‘business owner’ for their product category and vendors, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact the business
- Grow the brands’ catalog full product selection and availability on Amazon to ensure ideal customer experience
- Manage profitability – through proactive negotiation of costs, promotional opportunities, and other business inputs
- Conducting pricing and ROI analysis and making recommendations for initiatives that optimize profit margin
- Overlook business forecasting, monitoring, understanding and reporting for driving strategic supply chain projects and promotions to achieve business objectives
- Managing Purchase Orders and Instock analysis for subcategory and strategic brands to ensure healthy inventory levels
- Optimizing the online presence and content of each product on the brand's portfolio
- Support the developing and executing of marketing plans to drive awareness for the subcategory and brands
- Driving cross-category initiatives to improve operational process and deliver results
