We are looking for an experienced Search Marketing Manager to lead search marketing programs that drive customers to the site, generate demand, and help grow the Amazon brand in Australia. The Search Marketing Manager will leverage data, customer insights and tools to drive efficient growth for the business.
The role requires you to set goals, propose the plan to achieve those goals, and then drive execution, while engaging with both internal and external stakeholders (including senior leadership). This could mean creating new features, A/B Testing, or partnering with business and technical teams to achieve targets. The ideal candidate will be metrics-driven, with strong ownership and focus. A self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, has excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key job responsibilities
Specifically, the Search Marketing Manager will:
* Develop and execute strategies across search channels (in particular paid search) and SEO, to optimise external traffic and drive customer acquisition, to deliver profitable growth;
* Determine the appropriate methods and systems of metrics for measuring and monitoring marketing effectiveness, including brand awareness, brand equity, and sales results;
* Develop deep channel insights and understanding in partnership with retail teams, other marketing channel teams, and international stakeholders;
* Translate channel insights into test plans, product/feature proposals, and opportunities for optimisation;
* Create and present high-quality documents and presentations to senior leadership both inside and outside the company;
* Build a strong customer experience, understanding the potential impact of new functionality or features on customer experience or the brand.
