Amazon Finance Technology Team is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer, who can help us create the next generation of distributed, scalable financial systems. We need someone to design and develop services that facilitate global financial transactions worth billions of dollars annually.

As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will help solve a variety of technical challenges and build highly scalable solutions to solve unique problems for worldwide accounting/finance teams. You will work on big data problems making use of AWS services, design enterprise scaled systems, develop and deploy highly scalable and reliable distributed services. You will tackle challenging, novel situations every day. Along the way, we guarantee that you will learn a ton, have fun and make a huge impact.

Key job responsibilities
* Architect and develop highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and available services that underpin large-scale processing solutions.
* Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement innovative software applications using modern techniques.

About the team
Financial Reconciliation Platform Team owns a portfolio of products and tools that are used for reconciling account balances and Manual Journal Entries (MJE) in the General Ledger (GL). Our systems are built to operate at Amazon scale and process millions of transactions daily.
