The Prime Video Direct (PVD) team is looking for a bright, analytical, driven, and creative candidate to join our content licensing team to own and support the world-wide Licensing Operations and Strategy for Prime Video Direct which is the self-service licensing/publishing mechanism of Prime Video. In this role, you will be responsible for working with our world-wide content acquisition teams to license the best content for our customers, create innovative product and operational solutions to complex problems, and lead strategic initiatives across all of Prime Video's business lines (SVOD, TVOD, AVOD, etc) to make it easier than ever for studios, distributors, filmmakers and other content creators to distribute their content to Prime Video customers worldwide.
The Prime Video Direct team hiring an Associate Partner Experience Manager to join a team of talented and dedicated individuals responsible for supporting the partners who provide video content to Prime Video. This role will find innovative and efficient ways to solve customer pain points at root cause and driving insights that lead to new product solutions. You will work cross-functionally across the Prime Video organization to drive initiatives that enhance our customer experience for video providers around the world. Your team will be operationally focused on supporting the growth of the business and will find new ways to drive growth and scale using technology.
A successful candidate will be able to show demonstrated success in driving operational metrics. He or she will be customer obsessed and consistently look for opportunities to enhance the customer experience by using scalable technology. This person should be organized and able to use mechanisms to drive productivity, actionable insights, and timely responses to customer inquiries. A good candidate will have strong written and verbal communications skills, as well as an entrepreneurial spirit, the ability to influence others, and a passion for digital video. Additionally, this person must be able to balance operational and strategy work to deadlines.
Key job responsibilities
This role owns the entire PVD publishing pipeline, managing the content publishing for all PVD providers across 170+ locales and all offer types (TVOD, SVOD, AVOD). As PVD providers submit titles for licensing considering by Prime Video there are support emails and requiring SIMs across stakeholder tech and product teams that resolve resolution. This role serves as the operational expert who fields these questions from providers and can diagnose and troubleshoot all provider issues—from onboarding and title reviews to encoding, offers creation, reporting, and payments. This role is the PVD Account Manager and acts as the 'conductor' coordinating with nearly every major Prime Video team (spanning Trust and Safety (T&S), the Partner Marketplace product teams, the engineering teams of Catalog Ingestion (CI/Encoding/Offers), FinSys reporting/ engineering, Partner Account Experience (PAX), and Finance Operations (FinOps) team) when complex problems arise. Additionally, every SVOD and TVOD PVD CAM goes to this person when there is a high priority title that is experiencing a publishing delay or issue.
