Description

Edge Connectivity enables AWS cloud connectivity for U.S. National Security and Department of Defense customers. These connectivity options allow our customers to deploy and run their isolated, sensitive workloads in an environment exclusive for their use-case. We help our customers to onboard, manage, and scale their connectivity options for maintaining persistent connection to AWS Isolated cloud.

In this role, you will lead and manage a team of software and systems development engineers that build a managed service that customers use to connect to Amazon's Dedicated Cloud partitions. You'll be responsible for building and managing the teams that architect and implement software security protocols across Wide Area Networks (WANs), ensuring seamless and secure access to dedicated cloud environments. By developing sophisticated control and data plane systems, you'll protect critical customer connections flowing through Amazon's global network of data centers. You'll leverage the AWS ecosystem and integrate with third-party solutions to create secure pathways that meet our customers' stringent security requirements. Working alongside technology experts across Amazon, you'll define the next generation of dedicated cloud connectivity, setting new standards for enterprise-grade security. Your expertise in network encryption and software development will directly impact how how AWS customers access their mission-critical cloud infrastructure.

The candidate selected must obtain and maintain a security clearance at the TS/SCI with polygraph level. Upon start, the selected candidate will be sponsored for a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.
